Good Friday observed primarily by Christians. It is also known as Black Friday, Easter Friday, Holy Friday. This is the day Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. He died on the cross because of our countless sins he sacrifice his life.So every christian has to know the importance of Good Friday. Many of us do good Friday fasting. 1 Peter 3:18
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the
unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but
made alive by the Spirit.
1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die
to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
Mark 9:31
Because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, "The Son of Man
is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and
after three days he will rise."
Romans 5:6-10
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ
died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man,
though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God
demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,
Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how
much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! For if, when
we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of
his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved
through his life!
John 3:16-17
